2018 was off to a chilly start. Now we have flooding and warmer temps. We are hoping the weather will be good on Saturday February 24th as that is the date for the next habitat restoration work bees at the St. Williams Conservation Reserve.
Date: 4th Saturday of each month, mark your calendars.
Time: 1:30 – 4:30 pm
Meeting place: tbd depending on flooding and road conditions.
Activity: we’ll be limbing, dropping and/or “drilling and filling” conifers that are shading out savanna species.
Please let Audrey (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you are planning to come so she can send you further details. And please spread the word as the more help the better when it comes to dealing with the many, many pines trees at the Conservation Reserve.
