Join the Council or Become a Director

The progress achieved by the St. Williams Conservation Reserve Community Council (SWCRCC)  depends on people like you. Volunteers are at the heart of our efforts to protect rare habitats,  restore native species, and provide meaningful opportunities for the community. Whether you enjoy  getting your hands dirty in the field, lending your skills to a committee, or helping guide our long term vision as a director, there’s a place for you here.

Ways to Get Involved:

Field Event Volunteers
Join us for hands-on work events, get the insider edge on emerging information at a workshop, and  discover the historic and unique features of our slice of paradise during one of our public walking  tours. No long-term commitment required—just a willingness to join in & help out when you can. By  signing up to be a field event volunteer, you agree to receive our e-newsletter, informing you of  upcoming events.

Committee Members
Offer your knowledge and experience by supporting one of our specific focus areas such as Trails &  Recreation, Field Operations, Community Outreach, Governance, Seed Strategy, and Health &  Safety. Committees provide essential support to ensure that both day-to-day operations and long term projects succeed. Committees meet irregularly, on a need-to-meet bases.

Board of Directors
Our volunteer Board of Directors brings diverse skills and perspectives to guide governance and on the-ground management. Directors attend monthly meetings and contribute their expertise through  committee work, ensuring operations continue to move forward in a responsible manner.
